How to Prevent Yeast Infection

How to Prevent Yeast Infection?

Simple steps to help women avoid yeast infection!

Yeast Infection is a fairly common illness that many women get throughout the course of their life but there are some simple steps you can take to try to minimize this occurrence. Yeast infection most commonly occurs in warm wet areas, so keeping your pelvic area is extremely helpful. Douching is not advised as that will raise your risk of other vaginal infections. It is very appropriate and recommended to bathe with a sensitive skin soap. You really should not be using anything other than your hand, avoid the use of wash cloths or other scrubbing apparatus to wash your pelvic area. Avoid scented products and other things that women can buy to try to cover various odors. After your bath it can often be helpful to dry gently not only with a towel but also with a blow dryer on a low setting and its sometimes helpful to apply an unscented moisturizing product or a drying product if necessary. For the most part if you take these measures to avoid scented products in the pelvic area, wear cotton underwear and keep your pelvis dry then you should be able to prevent yeast infection.
